Accessible SLICE PDFs
The SLICE Tool
The Self-Led Infection Control Evaluation (SLICE) tool is designed to assist Infection Preventionists in small, rural, and critical access hospitals in evaluating and improving their Infection Prevention and Control Programs. SLICE empowers Infection Preventionists by:
- Providing customizable IPC assessments based on standardized criteria to assess their IPC programs.
- Providing specific, vetted resources to aid in improvement efforts.
SLICE was initially funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) Project Firstline and is currently supported by the Region VII Regional Emerging Special Pathogen Treatment Center (RESPTC), through funding from the Administration for Strategic Preparedness and Response (ASPR).
