Clinical simulation activities have been integral to the iterative design evolution of the ISTARI Model 1. Utilizing advanced simulation facilities at the UNMC Global Center for Health Security and engagement with Innovation Test Bed partner hospitals, diverse healthcare teams have provided valuable feedback to refine device features, optimize clinical and IPC utility, and improve patient safety and experience. A broad scope of medical interventions has been evaluated, including emergency and critical care procedures.
